Old Town Taste: Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Tempe, AZ

Everything was incredible!! So good the camera didn’t eat first! Seems very authentic and very fresh - but they still had all the classic fast food style. We had the general tso chicken (not pictured - except the nearly empty plate) and it was great! They also offer a cash discount! Loved that!! More places really should offer it! Very affordable even without the discount tho Will be back- new go to Chinese spot

I stopped by this restaurant during a road trip, and it turned out to be the best Chinese restaurant I’ve tried in Arizona! The Szechuan dishes are incredibly authentic, with bold flavors and just the right amount of heat. The ingredients are fresh, and every dish is expertly prepared. A must-visit for anyone craving genuine Chinese cuisine! Love the tasty and fresh spot!

Stopped by for a quick dinner, we ordered a braised beef noodles and a beef noodles with chinese pickled vegetables. Very generous portion with lots of beef slices included! Also ordered a wood ear cold dish to share, it was slightly sour, very refreshing and appetizing!

This place is a great mix of authentic Chinese food and American Chinese food. It’s a good sign when numerous tables are occupied by Chinese patrons. The hot and sour soup is massive, and delicious… for like $6? Definitely adding this to my list of favorites. The setting isn’t fancy, but it’s modern and clean.

They serve the best mapo tofu and fried rice! Their dry chili tofu and lotus root in the dry pot are incredible as well. The flavor, spice, and heat are absolutely out of this world. I only wish I lived closer so I could order from them more often. The staff is always polite and friendly too. Truly the best Sichuan food in the valley!

Food is delicious here. Very authentic and service is also good. Food come out fast. Will return for sure.

Food was not the best but very good. I had the walnut shrimp which I love. It was crispy and could have used a little more sauce. Service was good and they were friendly. Atmosphere was like an old ice cream shop but the booths were nice and spacious at least. Ordering was done via tablet which was fine but strangely white rice had to be ordered separate and it looked like drinks had to be ordered by the can. I wanted a diet soda but the tablet showed a single 12oz can for $2.50. Ain't nobody want a can fit for $2.50 at least not me. I had water. All considered it wasn't bad but definitely room for improvement. I would still go back though.

Foods is amazing!!!!! Everything is good! Everytime we go there, we never got disappointed!!!!! Service was amazing too! Foods came out so fast! But if u come in the dinner time in the weekend, it’s kinda busy and you might need longer time to wait to have a seat. And i took my friends to go there last week and they all were so satisfied!!!! If you look for the Szechuan foods, YOU MUST GO TO OLD TOWN TASTE!!! Trust me, it’s so good! And the good thing is only 3 mins away from our house Now i know where to take my family or friends to eat in AZ!
